Oxygen Scavengers For Inhibit Corrosion

Boiler corrosion control; Oxygen-related metallic corrosion is a significant issue in the operation and maintenance of industrial boiler systems and steam raising plants.

To ensure that such boiler systems are well maintained and operate at optimum efficiency, it is essential that the correct water conditions are maintained at all times. This can be achieved using carefully selected oxygen scavengers designed specifically for steam boiler corrosion control and feed water corrosion control in steam raising plants.

Oxygen Scavengers For Inhibit Corrosion

We offer in Crown Towers Chemicals some unique products, such as the following:

(1) CTCC 3030 CTCC 3030 is an oxygen scavenger for the removal of residual oxygen in boiler systems. It works as an anti-corrosion agent for boiler water systems.

• CTCC 3030 is widely used as a corrosion inhibitor and oxygen scavenger.

• CTCC 3030 is commonly used as an oxygen scavenger in both high-pressure and low-pressure boilers.

• CTCC 3030 is dosed into the boiler system to remove the remaining trace levels of dissolved oxygen.

• When caustic chemicals are used, CTCC 3030 works to prevent corrosion.

• CTCC 3030 works by inhibiting the formation of magnetite.

• Typically, the dosage of hydrazine is 3:1 parts hydrazine to the expected level of dissolved oxygen.

(2) CTCC 4040 is designed to remove residual oxygen from boiler feed water and oxygen or chlorine from other industrial water streams.

• CTCC 4040 is used to remove residual oxygen from boiler feed water.

• CTCC 4040 is used to prepare waste streams for disposal by treatment services, including public utility services.

• A fast reaction rate using the CTCC 4040 product.

• CTCC4040 works to remove chlorine from other industrial water streams.

• CTCC 4040 is excellent anti-corrosion for boiler water systems.
